Carrying Light Through Winter

A note from our founder on grief, rest and the quiet work of tending to yourself when the days are short.

Winter asks something of us that the rest of the year does not. It asks us to keep going with less light, and for many of the women we walk beside, less light means more weight.

I want to say plainly: rest is not a reward for having healed. It is part of how healing happens. You are allowed to do less this season.

If the months ahead feel heavy, let someone know before it becomes unbearable. Our circles run through the winter, and the door does not close because the year turned.
