Community Conversations: Breaking the Silence
An evening series where elders, mothers and young women speak openly about abuse, shame and the road back to self.

Abuse survives on silence, and silence is usually inherited. Community Conversations is our attempt to interrupt that inheritance in public, with care.
Each evening brings three generations into the same room — elders, mothers and young women — around one honest question. Facilitators hold the space so that no one is exposed and no one is dismissed.
We cover warning signs, consent, reporting pathways, and what a family can do when the harm came from inside it. Attendees leave with plain-language resources they can pass on.
The series is free and open to the whole community, including men. Change that only reaches survivors is not change.
